The Alma Jean Foundation was created to honor Alma Jean Kawaihonaokalani Peterson’s life and give back to the community.  Alma was born on May 23, 1946  and raised in Maili.  She grew up on Keliikipi Street. She graduated from Waianae High School, the Class of 1946 . She played softball and paddled canoe . Alma devoted her life to her family and Jesus. She attended Maili Church of God .
